Description
The Old Rectory is a house that was formerly a rectory, built in 1818. It is constructed of brick, with stuccoed walls on the east and west sides. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring two pairs of lateral stacks. There is a first-floor band that adds to its architectural detail.
The east front of the building has two storeys and three bays. The central doorway is framed by a distyle Doric portico that has a moulded cornice, and it features a six-panel door with a glazed overlight above it. On either side of the doorway, there are single glazing bar sashes set within recessed segmental arches. Above the doorway, there are three additional glazing bar sashes.
