Milepost. Late C19. Cast-iron triangular front with round top, on stone post. Raised letters read: NEW MILL DISTRICT ROAD THURLSTONE HUDDERSFIELD SHEFFIELD 10 ½ MILES 16 MILES HOLMFIRTH 5 MILES The cast-iron front of the milepost is broken.
