Description
The former stable building, located immediately north-west of Number 2 Bullhouse, is likely from the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two, possibly three storeys and consists of four bays. There are four entrances with large quoined surrounds, including a cart entry that has a segmental head and is partially blocked. The building has three small windows, with the right one having an added light on the left. On the first floor, there are three square windows and a smaller one at a lower level on the right. There are two blocked openings at a high level on the right, which may suggest the presence of a third storey. The rear of the building has door and window openings that are obscured by raised ground level, along with ventilation slits. On the left gable, there is a door at an intermediate level with a light above it. The right gable features an entrance with a quoined surround and two tiny chamfered lights, as well as one two-light, double-chamfered window in the gable apex.
