Description

Starling Bridge is a road bridge over the River Don, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features a single-span segmental arch. The bridge has curved-sided pilaster buttresses on either side of the arch, along with terminal piers that have gadrooned corner bollards. The stone parapets are topped with massive grooved copings.
