Description

Bank House Farmhouse is a 18th-century house, dated 1727, with a late 20th-century restoration. It is constructed of deeply-coursed, dressed stone with a concrete tile roof. The house is two storeys high and three bays wide. The main entrance is located between bays two and three. Bay one has 2-light double-chamfered windows, where the mullion has been removed. Bays two and three have 2-light flat-faced mullion windows, with the windows in bay two being restored or replaced. Modern casement windows are also present. A band runs horizontally between the floors. A plaque on the first floor reads "M J A AD 1727." A small ashlar stack is located on the left gable. Modern openings are visible to the rear, with a flat band between floors. A 20th-century stone porch is attached to the right gable.
