Description
Wayside cross, date uncertain but probably medieval, located approximately 40 metres from the road and about 150 metres west of the junction with Cross Lane in Penistone on Hartcliff Road. The cross is made of millstone grit and features a square base with chamfered corners, as well as a square-sectioned, chamfered shaft. A large letter "T" is inscribed on the west side.
