SE30NW BARNSLEY DODWORTH ROAD SE329063 (south side), Barnsley 3/25 Milestone in wall of petrol station, approx. 50 metres west of No 186 II Milestone. Early to mid C19. Stone post with round-arched top, inscribed in good letters: Barnsley 1 Mile Manchester (3)5 Miles The stone is slightly eroded and is built into a low stone wall.
