Former Carriage House To Cass'S Warehouse

The former carriage house and stable block to Cass's Warehouse is a building from the early to mid 19th century, now used for storage. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a 20th-century pantile roof. The building has two storeys and a nearly symmetrical facade with five bays, where the central three bays project slightly and are topped by a pediment with a lunette. There is a central carriage entrance with a shallow elliptical arch, and a small oculus on each side. The left bay contains one window and one doorway, while the right bay has a later large doorway. A band runs between the floors. The first floor has three windows with 20th-century casements in the central break, and each side bay includes a circular pitching hole. The roof is hipped, and there is one truncated ridge stack.
