Description

The former carriage house to No 17 is an early to mid 19th-century building that has been altered and is now used as offices. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical four-bay facade. The central two bays project slightly and are topped with a pediment that includes a lunette in the tympanum. There is a central round-arched carriage entrance, which has voussoirs and is now infilled with 20th-century glazing and a door. On either side of the entrance, there are blind round-arched windows. The right side bay contains two round-arched windows, while the left side bay has a large 20th-century casement window. Small sash windows are present on the first floor, with a 20th-century casement window to the left. The left return elevation features a large 20th-century casement window and a small light above. The roof is hipped.
