Description
Cass's Warehouse is a former linen warehouse, now used as a carpet warehouse, dating from the early to mid 19th century. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with an ashlar plinth and features a 20th-century pantile roof. It stands three storeys tall and has a symmetrical front with three bays facing the road. The central doorway is now blocked and has an architrave and cornice. The windows are plain with raised sills, including a mix of sash and casement types. The roof is hipped. On the left and right returns, the windows are similar, with some featuring 16-pane sashes, while others are blind or blocked. There are three entrances on the left return, and paired moulded brackets support the gutter.
