3/34 Barn range approx. 15 metres to east of Bullhouse Hall

GV II

Barn. Dated 1695 and 1700, altered. Coursed, squared, dressed stone. Welsh slate roof, asbestos to rear. Two storeys. L-plan. Eight internal bays long. Two, tall, segmental-headed cart entries that to left an insertion in keeping (possibly C19), that to right dated 1700. Four smaller entrances (one part-blocked) with quoined surround, that to left inscribed: "JUN ye 10 1695" Two pitching holes at high level. Chamfered ventilation slits. Hollow-chamfered gable copings on moulded kneelers. Apex finials. The internal angle of the barn is infilled with later structures.

Interior: principal rafter trusses with queen struts.
