Description

This is an ice house located approximately 100 metres south of Fairfield Manor. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and has had some repairs made in the 20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a barrel-vaulted passage that is about 2.5 metres long, leading to a sunk domed ice chamber.
