Description

Grange Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-to-late 18th century with later 18th-century and 20th-century additions. It is constructed of whitewashed brick, with a stone slate roof and Roman tiles to the rear. The house has a central-hallway entry, an outshut with a catslide roof, and a 20th-century porch to the rear. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The front features a six-panelled door beneath a divided overlight. Replacement 16-pane sashes are present throughout. A first-floor band runs along the elevation. A fire insurance plaque is located on the right-hand side. Decorative dentils form a course towards the roofline. The gable ends are raised and have brick kneelers. End stacks are present.
