Description

42 Lord Mayor's Walk is a house built around 1840, with later alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. The building has three storeys and one bay. The windows are sashed, with the ground-floor window having external panelled shutters. The first-floor window is a canted oriel, which has a panelled base and a modillion cornice. The doorway, located on the left side, has a Tuscan pilaster doorcase and a six-panel door with an overlight. There is a shared chimney on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
