Description

The Pinfold, located approximately 30 metres south of the Fox Hotel, is a pound built in the early 19th century, with some restoration in the 20th century. It is constructed from handmade brick arranged in an irregular bond, topped with stone coping. The structure has a rectangular plan with rounded corners and features an opening on the north-west side that faces the road. The walls stand about 1.5 metres high and also have rounded copings.
