Description
This is a former inn, dating from 1715, though it has been significantly altered. It is a two-story building with a pantile roof and rendered exterior. The building has two flush sash windows on its side elevation, and a modern door. Another elevation features two windows with glazing bars above four windows, with modern glazing. A penticed addition to the southwest has a single window on each floor, and a gable end also has a single window on each floor. A brick eaves cornice is laid in a diagonal pattern. It forms a group with numbers 1 to 8 Humber Terrace and numbers 139 and 141 Waterside Road, with number 141 of local interest only. A datestone indicates the year 1715.
