Description

The Old Bell Inn is an inn dating from the early 17th century, with a refacing from the early 19th century. It features a rendered exterior and a pantile roof with raised coped verges. The building is two storeys high and has five windows. To the left, there is a square-headed coach entry with boarded doors, and an off-centre right 20th-century door situated between large pane sash windows from the late 19th century. The first floor has 16-light glazing bar sashes separated by recessed blanks, and all windows are flanked by 20th-century mock shutters. Inside, both front rooms have ceilings with ovolo and ogee moulded frames.
