Description

No. 52 Bridge Street is a mid-18th century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed of painted brick with a pantile roof. It features a brick band between the ground and first floors. The building has four windows, two of which are blocked, with segmental arches and hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor showcases a bow window with glazing bars and a small 19th-century shop front, which is adorned with plain pilasters and a half-glazed door, along with rendered stall risers. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 35 to 54 (consecutive), Nos 56 and 57, and the White Hart Public House, with Nos 35 to 46 (consecutive) being of local interest.
