Description
This is a threshing barn built in 1781, located approximately 50 metres north of Manor Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof, featuring five bays. The front gable-end faces the road and includes two 19th-century stable doors set under segmental arches, with a diamond-shaped breather to the left and a similar blocked breather to the right. Above these doors, there is a pair of similar breathers and breathing-holes that form the date in the brick coped and tumbled gable.
On the left side, there is a blocked cart entrance with an inserted door, a segmental-headed stable door at the left end, and three diamond-shaped breathers on the ground floor, along with three similar breathers on the first floor that have boarded hatches at each end. The right side features a similar breather and boarded and blocked openings. The eaves cornices on the returns are stepped and dentilled. There are later adjoining ranges to the left and right that are of no special interest.
