Description
This is a threshing barn located approximately 10 meters north of Horsegate Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century. The barn is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof. The street-facing side features two storeys and seven bays, with a single-storey outshut on the left. There is a central board door with iron strap hinges set beneath a timber lintel, flanked by three slit vents on the left and two on the right, along with a board hatch. Above, there are seven slit vents and the eaves are stepped. The gables are brick coped and tumbled, with tumbled-in brick used on the outshut.
The left side of the barn has slit vents, while the right side includes a board door at ground level, two central first-floor hatches, and a diamond-shaped breather in the gable. At the rear, facing the yard, there is a similar door, slit vents, and two floor hatches, one of which is blocked.
