Description

No. 35 High Street is an office building constructed around 1890. It is made of brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. The building has a plinth, ground floor, and first-floor sill bands, along with modillion wooden eaves. It stands three storeys tall and has a five-window range. The central feature is a canted wooden oriel window topped with a hipped lead roof and plain sashes, flanked by single plain sashes and additional similar oriels. Above this, there are five plain sashes. The ground floor includes four tripartite plain sashes with moulded surrounds, and to the right, there is a panelled door with a moulded surround and overlight. This building is included for its group value.
