GV II

2 warehouses. 1829, restored late C20. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Slate roofs. 4 storeys. EXTERIOR: street front: 5 windows, rendered plinth and parapet with ashlar coping. Central taking-in doorways to lower 3 floors, with double plank doors. Ground floor has to left 2 windows and to right a single window, then an elliptical-arched cart entrance with voussoirs and a pair of close-boarded doors. First and second floors have 2 windows on either side, and third floor has 5 windows. Below the central window an oval ashlar plaque. Round cast-iron wall ties dated 1829. River front: 3 windows with ashlar-coped gable and kneelers. Central taking-in doorways to each floor with double doors to ground floor, upper floors are obscured by projecting wooden-framed hoist housing, with gabled roof, clad in corrugated sheeting. Either side are single windows to each floor, and above in the gable an ashlar plaque.
