Ornamental fountain, now a plant trough. c1875. Cast-iron. Cruciform base carrying octagonal pedestal with 4 scroll brackets and 4 figures of mermaids blowing conches. Shallow basin with relief decoration. Above, a smaller octagonal pedestal flanked by 4 life-size figures of herons, carrying a smaller shallow basin containing a scrolled central spout.
