Description

This is a house dating from the mid-18th century, located next to the Londesborough Arms Hotel on the north side of Market Weighton High Street. The building is constructed of red brick that has been colourwashed, featuring a timber eaves cornice and a pantiled roof. It stands three storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century shopfront to the left and a 20th-century carriage entrance to the right. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars set under cambered brick arches, although the right window is blocked. The second floor has similar windows. The house also features a moulded timber eaves cornice and an axial stack.
