Description

ELLERKER MAIN STREET SE 92 NW (south side) 5/14 Mill Cottage GV II House. Probably late C18. Coursed oolitic limestone rubble with brick dressings, pantiled roof. 2 storeys, single bay. Ground floor: sliding sash with glazing bars under timber lintel. To left, a small C20 inserted single-pane window. First floor: similar sliding sash under timber lintel. Stepped brick eaves cornice, tumbled-in brick to raised gables. End stack to right. Left elevation has an altered taking-in door to first floor now containing a small 2-light sliding sash. Included for group value.
