Description
Mill Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed oolitic limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and consists of a single bay.
On the ground floor, there is a sliding sash window with glazing bars set beneath a timber lintel. To the left, there is a small 20th-century inserted single-pane window. The first floor has a similar sliding sash window also under a timber lintel. The cottage has a stepped brick eaves cornice and tumbled-in brickwork at the raised gables. There is an end stack on the right side. The left elevation features an altered taking-in door at the first floor, which now contains a small two-light sliding sash window. This building is included for its group value.
