Description

This is a mid-18th century house located south of Pinfold in South Cave. It is a single-story building with an attic, constructed of coursed squared rubble with brick dressings and a pantiled roof. The house has two main rooms, arranged around a central lobby-entry plan. The front elevation has a four-panel door centered, flanked to the right and left by sliding sash windows with sills and glazing bars, all set under flat brick arches. To the far right is a small two-pane casement window beneath a timber lintel. Chimneys are positioned along the central axis. The raised gables feature tumbled-in brickwork.
