Description
No 7 and 8 Church Hill is a house built in the mid to late 18th century with 19th-century alterations. The building features a rendered exterior with stone dressings and a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and three bays. The shallow plinth and vermiculated quoins enhance its appearance. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, set within a 19th-century doorcase. To the left of the door is a sash window with glazing bars, while to the right is a 20th-century replacement window, both of which are topped by projecting, carved keyblocks. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with sills and glazing bars to the left, and a 20th-century replacement window to the right, all under small carved keyblocks, although the one on the left is missing. The roof has plain close verges and end stacks.
