Description
Rose Green Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and cobbles, topped with a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a rear outshut. There is a panelled door located between the second and third bays, framed in sawn stone with a lintel above. The windows are side-sliding sashes with glazing bars, set in flush wood frames, featuring stone sills and flat brick arches. The leftmost window has three lights, while the others have two lights each. The cottage also has shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings. Brick ridge stacks are positioned at the gables and between the first and second bays. The interior has not been inspected.
