Description

This is an early to mid-19th century farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with a grey slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a 20th-century half-glazed door with a fanlight containing radial glazing bars, set within a shouldered and banded architrave with a keystone. The flanking bays and the first floor have four-pane sash windows in flush wood architraves, with stone sills and channelled lintels. The roof has shaped kneelers, gable copings, and brick end stacks. The left return side of the building is notable for courses of squared limestone blocks alternating with split cobbles. An attached outbuilding is not considered to be of particular architectural or historical interest.
