Description

Crown Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century that was restored in 1856. It is built of coursed squared limestone and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a fanlight above, flanked by fluted attached columns that support an open dentilled pediment. Throughout the house, there are four-pane sash windows set in flush wood architraves, complete with stone sills and channelled and keyed wedge lintels. There are chimney stacks at both ends of the building. On the left side, there is a stone plaque inscribed with 'VR AP 1856' and a crown. The interior has not been inspected.
