Description

Laurel House is a house built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys with an attic and three windows on the first floor. It has rusticated ashlar quoins and a central four-panel door, which has a glazed top half, set in an alternate quoined surround with a double keystone above the lintel. The windows are sashes with flush wood architraves, stone sills, and keyed lintels. The eaves are dentilled, and there are cut-back kneelers and ashlar gable copings, along with end stacks.
