Description
Vine House is a mid-18th century house constructed of ashlar with a stone slate roof. It is a double-depth building that stands three storeys tall and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door that is part-glazed and is framed by a door-case likely made of stone. This door-case consists of two plain pilasters and an entablature with a pulvinated frieze and a dentilled triangular pediment. The house has sash windows throughout, each set in a stone architrave and decreasing in height with each storey. The eaves cornice is dentilled, and there are unshaped kneelers and ashlar gable coping, with end stacks. The gable walls support an M-shaped roof. To the left of the house, there is attached walling and the remains of an outbuilding, which are not of special interest. The interior has not been inspected.
