Description

This building is an early 19th-century shop and dwelling. It is two storeys high and built of yellow brick with a pantile roof and a dentil eaves cornice. The front has three windows, with painted brick voussoirs and no glazing bars. The ground floor has two windows and a doorway featuring moulded pilasters and a cornice. A modern door is fitted, along with a rectangular fanlight above. It forms a group with numbers 1, 5, 7 to 10, 12 to 23, and 23A. Number 5 in the group is of local interest.
