Description
Levisham House is a late 18th-century building located on the east side of Market Place. It is two storeys high, constructed of brick, and features a pantile roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The eaves cornice is supported by brackets. The building has two windows with painted rusticated lintels and no glazing bars. The doorcase is notable for its reeded pilasters and frieze, a fluted dentil cornice, and a pediment, along with a semi-circular fanlight and panelled soffit and jambs. The door itself consists of six panels. Levisham House is part of a group that includes Nos 24, 25A, 25B, 26, and 27.
