Description
Nos 15 and 16 Market Place are early 18th century buildings that stand two storeys tall with attics. They are constructed of brick and topped with a pantile roof featuring a central brick chimney stack. The front facade has three irregularly placed windows, with No 16 displaying glazing bars on both floors. The ground floor of No 15 features a modern door beneath a rectangular fanlight, while No 16 has a door made up of six fielded panels under a three-light rectangular fanlight. These buildings are part of a group that includes No 5, Nos 7 to 10 in succession, Nos 12 to 23 in succession, and No 23A, with No 5 noted for its local interest.
