Description

This is an 18th-century building located on the west side of Market Place. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with a later pantile roof that is hipped on the right-hand side. The front elevation features two windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars, above a modern casement window of four lights. There are two modern doors at ground level, and a blocked window is also present. Stone quoins are visible on the right-hand side. A rear wing contains farm buildings and features a brick construction with an elliptical carriage entry. The building forms a group with numbers 5, 7 to 10, 12 to 23, and 23 Market Place, with number 5 holding local interest.
