Description
26 Market Place is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from yellow brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features brick pilasters at both the ends and the centre of the façade. The building has three windows, each with rusticated lintels that include a keystone. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars, and the centre bay is distinguished by a channeled stucco surround. The entrance door consists of six panels and is set in a moulded surround with a cornice, topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. There are three steps leading up to the door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 24, 25A, 25B, 26, and 27.
