Description
No. 2 Park Road South is a house dating from around 1840 to 1850, currently used as offices. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with the ground floor featuring a channelled design and a roof made of Welsh slate. The building has two storeys and a basement, with a five-window range and a central entrance. The entrance features paired round arched doors set within a Doric portico. The ground floor windows are round arched recessed 4-pane sashes, complete with an impost band. The upper windows are adorned with entablatures supported by brackets, and the central window has a pedimented head. The eaves overhang, showcasing a moulded wood cornice, adds to the architectural detail.
