Description
Kenyon Terrace is a group of eight houses built around 1844-48, likely designed by Charles Reed. The houses are constructed with an ashlar stone facade and have a Welsh slate roof. They are arranged as a symmetrical terrace, with the outer and central sections projecting forward. The two houses at each end have side entrances within a pedimented doorcase and a two-window front. The houses in the middle have a narrower design, with a doorway and single window on the ground floor. The lower level is rusticated, featuring round, plain, and segmental arched windows and four-panelled doors topped with overlights set in prominent architraves. Upper-level windows have architraves and entablatures supported by console brackets. The ground-floor windows are replacements with 12 panes; the central pair feature tripartite sash windows and Ionic porch entrances. The terrace has a cornice and blocking course, and includes gable and axial stacks.
