Description

Springfield Lodge is a house dating circa 1845, likely designed by Charles Reed. It is constructed of stucco with a Welsh slate roof. The house has two storeys and three bays, with a central entrance. A portico porch shelters a part-glazed, three-panelled door. The ground floor has mullioned and transomed casement windows with margin lights and entablatures supported by console brackets. Similar windows are located above. A canted bay window projects from the return elevation on the right-hand side. The eaves are supported by moulded brackets. The corners are emphasised by quoins. End wall chimneys are present.
