Description

A row of five houses, numbered 5 to 13, located on Central Road in Port Sunlight, built in 1907 by W. Naseby Adams. The houses are constructed of pebbledash and have hipped tile roofs. They are arranged over two storeys and five bays, with the end bays recessed and roofed with a gambrel. The second and fourth bays have gables, featuring stone coping and roundels. Ground floor windows are triple-sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has a central flat-topped dormer window with four sashes, and flanking triple-sash windows. Entrances are fitted with plank doors incorporating small-paned lights. The rear elevation is similar, with end gables and dormers, and sash windows. This group value reflects their contribution to the character of the Port Sunlight estate.
