Description
Dean's Farmhouse is a building from the 18th century, and possibly earlier, located on Blundell's Lane in Rainhill. It features a stone base with a brick upper structure. The rear of the farmhouse has some horizontal sliding sash windows. The front showcases stone quoins and a central two-storey porch with a round-arched entrance that includes a keystone and moulded imposts. There is a datestone from 1754, an upper small-paned non-opening window, and another datestone from 1842 set in an oval frame at the gable, topped with a ball. On either side of the porch, there are square 16-paned sash windows below and three-light sliding sash windows above, all with stone lintels and keystones.
