Description
This is a late Georgian lodge, originally situated as a north-east lodge to Halsnead Park mansion. The mansion has since been demolished due to the colliery, but the lodge survives. It is constructed of ashlar, with a slate roof, and has a square plan. The lodge features a pyramid roof, rusticated quoins, a central round-headed doorway recessed within a round-arched stone porch, and a two-light window positioned on each side, each with round-headed lights and stone labels.
