Description

The milestone on Skew Bridge, likely dating from around 1829, is a wide stone post featuring a round arched top that is divided by a vertical line down the middle. The left side of the milestone indicates "to Warrington VIII miles," while the right side states "to Prescot II miles to Liverpool X miles."
