GV II

Farmhouse and cottage. Probably late C17 or early C18, altered. Handmade brick on stone plinth, the front painted, graduated stone slate roof with gable copings. Linear plan of 2+1 units, with C20 back extensions. One-and-a-half storeys, 2+1 windows. No.15 has a gabled porch offset slightly right of centre, a small 2-light casement window to the left, an oblong 3-light casement to the right and 2 half-dormer windows with 2-light casements and shallow hipped roofs. No.17 to the right has a similar 3-light casement at ground floor and a similar dormer above; and a doorway in the right-hand gable wall. Coped gables; short square brick chimney on ridge in line with doorway of No.15. INTERIOR: not inspected. Collectively all the buildings in Little Crosby Road form a valuable group of similar scale but varied dates, materials and style.
