115, 117, AND 119, SHAW STREET

Nos. 115, 117, and 119 Shaw Street are three houses built in the 1830s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with three bays. There is a basement lintel band, a first-floor sill band, and a top frieze with a cornice and blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, with one blind window on the second floor of each house. The entrances are framed by Ionic aedicules without pediments. No. 115 has a complete overlight and a six-panel door, along with plain iron area railings and an iron first-floor balcony. No. 117 also has a complete overlight. No. 119 features a six-panel door and plain iron area railings.
