Description

Two houses, built in the 1830s. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. They are three storeys high with a basement, and have a three-bay facade. The ground floor has a band above the basement lintel, and a sill band to the first floor. Above, there is a top frieze, cornices, and a blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The entrances feature Ionic aedicules, but lack pediments. There are plain iron railings to the front areas and steps. Number 71 has boarded windows (dated 1984) and some railings are missing.
