Description

No. 78 Seel Street is a warehouse that was likely used as a school, built in the 1830s. The structure is made of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and a basement, with five bays. At the top, there is a pediment or gable that includes a plaque. The basement has a lintel course, while the ground floor windows are fitted with chamfered lintels. The first-floor windows are set on a sill band and have wedge lintels. All windows are casements. The entrance features a reeded doorcase and a framed fanlight.
