Description

House located at 12A Edge Lane, built in the 1830s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building is three storeys high and features two sets of two bays, with a two-storey, three-bay recessed section on the right. The left part of the house includes a first-floor sill band and a top cornice. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash style with glazing bars, although some are blind. The entrance is adorned with flat pilasters and an entablature, while the entrance in the recessed section also has a wedge lintel. The garden is enclosed by iron railings with spearhead details. There is a two-bay return to Marmaduke Street.
