Description

The piers at the front of number 244, which is the Wavertree District Library, were built between 1902 and 1903 and designed by T. Shelmerdine. These are square stone piers that are panelled and rusticated, topped with Doric entablatures. They are connected by low stone walling and plain iron railings.
